description
LIGHTING DEVICE The present invention relates to an elongated lighting device, in particular a strip light, and an optical arrangement for releasable attachment to an elongated lighting device.
A variety of elongated lighting devices is known from the prior art, for example in the form of elongated strip lights with elongated fluorescent tubes or elongated LED arrays. The known lighting devices are typically constructed or assembled by means of individual lighting modules that have a predefined length. Such lighting devices also frequently include optical arrangements, such as reflectors or frosted glass panes, in order to be able to emit directed or diffuse light through the lighting device.
Furthermore, it is known in the prior art that individual lighting modules of the elongated lighting device can be removed later and replaced by other lighting modules that have a different radiation characteristic. In this context, it is known in particular to replace one or more of the light modules with elongated light sources by light modules with light point sources, such as spotlight modules, spot light modules or the like, in order to be able to provide appropriate lighting in individual areas.
After the individual lighting modules of the elongated lighting device often have a predefined length and at least one such lighting module must be removed for an exchange, the replacement of the lighting modules can result in undesirable lighting gaps, which adversely affect the lighting impression of the elongated lighting device.
In addition, the replacement of the light modules is comparatively complex, especially since the electrical contacts of the light module to be replaced must first be removed and reattached to the light module to be used. In addition, the electrical contacts are often only arranged at predefined positions on the elongated lighting device, which further limits the positioning options for the alternative lighting modules.
Starting from this prior art, the present invention has for its object to provide an elongated lighting device on which a modified radiation characteristic, preferably a radiator function, can be optionally provided in a simple manner in individual areas.
These and other objects, which will be mentioned when reading the following description or can be recognized by the skilled person, are solved by the subject matter of the independent claims. The dependent claims further develop the central idea of the present invention in a particularly advantageous manner.
An elongated lighting device according to the invention, in particular a strip light, comprises: at least one light source; at least one first optical arrangement, which is (seen) behind the light source in the direction of radiation of the light source; at least one separate second optical arrangement, which is arranged detachably on the lighting device behind the first optical arrangement in the radiation direction of the light source (as seen), in such a way that the light emerging from the first optical arrangement can partially enter the second optical arrangement, so that the lighting device can emit light from the first optical arrangement and light from the second optical arrangement.
In other words, the present invention proposes, on a first optical arrangement of the elongated lighting device, for example a reflector arrangement, a diffusing screen or some other diffuser means, a second, separate optical arrangement detachable / 12

To arrange patent office and in contrast to the known solutions no longer to replace the light modules. The term second optical arrangement is to be understood broadly and includes not only optical elements, such as lenses, light guide means, but also housings, fastening means and the like. In particular, the second optical arrangement is to be understood as the entire structural unit that can be arranged on the elongated lighting device.
In the simplest embodiment, the second optical arrangement is a housing with at least one optical element which can be clipped onto the elongated lighting device in the longitudinal direction at any position. As a result, the light emitted by the light source of the elongate lighting device can be branched off and guided through the optical element of the second optical arrangement. The optical element of the second optical arrangement, for example a converging lens or a Fresnel lens, is preferably selected in such a way that bundled light emission by the second optical arrangement is possible in order to be able to additionally provide at least one emitter function on the elongated lighting device.
The detachable attachment of the second optical arrangement in the beam path behind the first optical arrangement, instead of an exchange of light modules, has in particular the advantage that the existing light device does not have to be structurally changed in order to be able to provide an area with a changed radiation characteristic , Also, no electrical contacts are necessary for the second optical arrangement, since the second optical arrangement uses the emitted light from the elongated lighting device and does not include any active light sources of its own. In comparison to the previously known solutions, an elongated lighting device with a further emission characteristic, in particular a radiator function, can thus be provided in a simple manner and this while avoiding the disadvantages described above. The elongated lighting device preferably comprises a housing in which or on which the at least one light source and the at least one first optical arrangement are fixedly arranged, the light source of the elongated lighting device preferably being an elongated LED array or an elongated fluorescent tube.
It is particularly preferred that the second optical arrangement on the housing of the elongated lighting device or on the first optical arrangement is detachably arranged or can be arranged. In this context, it is further preferred that the second optical arrangement has at least one latching / spring element in order to releasably connect it to a corresponding latching / spring element of the housing and / or the first optical arrangement. Furthermore, it is particularly preferred that the latching / spring element of the housing and / or the first optical arrangement extends essentially over the entire longitudinal extent of the elongated lighting device, so that the second optical arrangement can be detachably arranged essentially over the entire longitudinal extent of the elongated lighting device is. The latching / spring elements are preferably designed as tongue and groove connections, as clip connections and / or as spring pin connections.
Advantageously, the second optical arrangement in the longitudinal extent of the elongated lighting device is slidably arranged on the housing and / or on the first optical arrangement. This can be done, for example, by an undercut / latching groove provided over the entire longitudinal extent of the elongate lighting device, on which the second optical arrangement can be arranged by means of correspondingly designed latching means.
Furthermore, it is particularly preferred that the second optical arrangement and / or the lens element of the second optical arrangement is rotatably and / or tiltably arranged in order to be able to change the light emission direction of the light emerging from the second optical arrangement. Such mobility can be provided in particular by turning or tilting mechanisms. For example, the lens element can be a Fresnel lens that can be rotated on the second optical arrangement, for example in the housing

Patent office of the second optical arrangement is attached.
The second optical arrangement preferably comprises light-guiding means, such as, for example, at least one reflector surface, and a lens element which is designed to guide the light entering the second optical arrangement to the lens element.
In particular, reflective coatings / surfaces can be provided on or in the housing of the second optical arrangement in order to guide the light obtained from the light source of the elongate lighting device to the optical element of the second optical arrangement. Alternatively or additionally, there is the possibility of providing further light guide means, such as lens arrangements, prisms, optical waveguides and the like, in the second optical arrangement.
The second optical arrangement or the housing of the second optical arrangement is preferably essentially funnel-shaped, cylindrical or rod-shaped. In the case of an essentially funnel-shaped design, it is particularly preferred that this is a funnel shape with a rectangular base area, which corresponds to the area of the elongated lighting device on which the second optical arrangement is / is arranged on the elongated lighting device. If the second optical arrangement is essentially cylindrical, it is possible to design the optical element of the second optical arrangement, for example in the form of a cylindrical or rod-shaped light-guiding element, and to arrange it rotatably in the cylinder such that light can be emitted as a function of the angular positioning of the optical element , Additionally or alternatively, in the case of a cylindrical configuration of the second optical arrangement, there is also the possibility of rotatably mounting the entire arrangement on the elongated lighting device and of varying a light output in accordance with the angular positioning of the second optical arrangement.
Preferably, the second optical arrangement has a light entry surface at which light from the first optical arrangement enters the second optical arrangement. It is particularly preferred that the second optical arrangement is essentially funnel-shaped and a light entry surface on which light from the first optical arrangement enters the second optical arrangement; and a light exit surface at which light emerges from the second optical arrangement or is guided to the lens element of the second optical arrangement.
The light entry surface of the second optical arrangement, at which light from the first optical arrangement enters the second optical element, preferably has a substantially rectangular shape when viewed in plan view, the light exit surface of the second optical arrangement, on the light from the second optical arrangement emerges or is guided to the lens element of the second optical arrangement, preferably has a substantially circular shape when viewed in plan view.
Furthermore, the present invention relates to a second optical arrangement described above, wherein the optical arrangement is arranged to detachably on the elongate lighting device, which comprises at least one light source and a first optical arrangement, in the radiation direction behind the first optical arrangement on the lighting device to be arranged, in such a way that the light emerging from the first optical arrangement can partially enter the second optical arrangement, so that the lighting device can emit light from the first optical arrangement and light from the second optical arrangement.
A detailed description of the figures is given below. It shows:
Figure 1 is a schematic view of a preferred embodiment of a second optical arrangement according to the invention, which can be releasably attached to an elongated lighting device;

Patent Office [0024] FIG. 3 shows a schematic partial view of the elongate lighting device shown in FIG. 2;
Figure 4 is a schematic partial view of the elongated lighting device shown in Figure 2.
Figure 1 shows a schematic view of a preferred embodiment of a second optical arrangement 10 according to the invention, which is releasably attached to an elongated lighting device 100 in Figures 2 to 4.
The preferred embodiment of the second optical arrangement 10 comprises a substantially funnel-shaped base body 11, with a lens element 12 in the form of a Fresnel lens being arranged on a lower side provided for light emission, which bundles the light and emits it at a lens-dependent angle to the vertical.
On the opposite side of the lens element 12, the optical arrangement 10 has two opposing locking lugs 13 with which the optical arrangement 10 can be releasably attached to the elongated lighting device 100 shown in FIGS. 2 to 4. In addition, the upper side of the optical arrangement 10 is open, so that light can enter the optical arrangement 10 from the elongated lighting device 100 in this region.
As can be clearly seen in FIG. 1, the light entry surface formed in the upper region, in which light from the elongate lighting device 100 can enter the optical arrangement 10, is essentially rectangular in plan view. The light exit surface, at which light can exit from the optical arrangement 10 or from the lens element 12, is essentially circular in plan view. The lens element 12 bundles the light entering the optical arrangement 10 such that the optical arrangement 10 is perceived as light point sources, such as a spotlight module or a spot light module, and can be used accordingly.
Inside or on the optical arrangement 10 (preferably in the base body 11 of the optical arrangement 10), further optical elements, such as a reflector arrangement, a lens arrangement or other light-guiding elements, can be provided, which serve to stop the light entering at the upper light entry surface lead to the lens element 12, where it can emerge from the optical arrangement. The lens element 12 is preferably arranged rotatably on the base body 11, so that the precise direction of light emission of the radiation cone can be changed accordingly. In this context, it may be advantageous to provide further swiveling and / or tilting devices on the optical arrangement 10 or on the lens element 12 in order to be able to vary the direction of light emission even further.
The shown substantially rectangular shaped light entry surface of the optical arrangement 10 represents a particularly preferred form of the light entry surface, since this enables the light entry surface to be attached to the elongated lighting device 100 in a particularly simple manner. As an alternative to the shown essentially funnel-shaped configuration of the optical arrangement 10 with the lens element 12 arranged on the light exit side, there is also the possibility of making the optical arrangement and / or the lens element essentially cylindrical, for example by means of cylindrical or rod-shaped light guide elements. The optical arrangement or the lens element of the optical arrangement can be rotatably arranged such that light can be emitted depending on the angular positioning of the lens element or the optical arrangement.
A preferred embodiment of an elongated lighting device 100 according to the invention, to which the optical arrangement 10 shown in FIG. 1 is fastened, is explained in connection with FIGS. 2 to 4. The same parts are provided with the same reference numerals.
As can be clearly seen in FIGS. 2 to 4, the elongated lighting device 100 comprises an optical arrangement 110 in the form of diffuser elements on the light exit side. alternative

Patent office or in addition, the elongated lighting device 100 may include further optical elements / devices, such as reflector arrangements, diffusing screens, frosted glass panes or the like. The elongated lighting device 100 further comprises at least one elongated light source (not shown), which is provided behind the optical arrangement 110. The optical arrangement 110 and the at least one light source are arranged in a housing 113 of the elongate lighting device 100.
As can also be clearly seen in FIGS. 2 to 4, the elongated lighting device 100 comprises two opposing locking grooves 111, into which the correspondingly designed locking lugs 13 of the optical arrangement 10 can be snapped and the optical arrangement 10 on the elongated lighting device 100 can be attached. The locking grooves 111 of the elongated lighting device 100 extend essentially over the entire longitudinal extent of the elongated lighting device 100, so that the positioning of the optical arrangement 10 can essentially be freely selected.
Alternatively or in addition to the locking connections 13, 111 shown, other locking / spring elements, tongue and groove connections, clip connections or spring pin connections can be provided in order to detachably connect the optical arrangement 10 to the housing 113 or to the optical arrangement 110 to connect the elongated lighting device 100.
By releasably attaching the optical arrangement 10 in the beam path behind the optical arrangement 110 of the elongated lighting device 100, a simple possibility can be provided to provide an elongated lighting device 100 with an additional radiation characteristic, without the existing lighting device having to be structurally changed. Also, no electrical contacts are necessary since the optical arrangement 10 does not require any active light sources and only uses the emitted light from the elongated lighting device 100. As a result, an elongated lighting device with a further radiation characteristic, in particular a radiator function, can thus be provided in a simple manner, and this while avoiding the known disadvantages. There is also the possibility of retrofitting elongated lighting devices that have already been installed in a simple manner with an additional radiation characteristic.
The present invention is not limited to the previous embodiment as long as it is covered by the subject of the following claims. In particular, it should be noted that the present invention is not limited to a specific form of the second optical arrangement.
